The Enchanted Loft is the perfect installation to give the youngest of the youngest a moment of quiet discovery amidst a busy festival.

The toddlers can discover and explore the mysteries hidden within the Enchanted Loft. In the installation they'll find lots of pretty, colourful suitcases. One suitcase is filled with happy, coloured spiders in their webs, another contains a romantic butterfly game. In one the children will find a doll’s house, and in another shiny diamonds! They can touch and play with everything. How mysterious...and how exciting!

By hanging a large roof in an open space the area is visually separated without disturbing the view. Below that is a soft rug so that the children can play comfortably on the floor. There is even a ‘bear ball pool’ in which they can frolic.

Age group
The Enchanted Loft is especially designed for toddlers from the age of two, but children up to eight years old really enjoy discovering the installation. As a matter of fact, even the parents can often get a little 'enchanted' in the Loft.

More information
The Enchanted Loft has been exhibited at a number of theaters and festivals in the Netherlands.

Lights. Camera. Playtime!

I don't know why my sister's so scared of spiders, they're so cool!

Well somebody needs to tidy up the butterfly suitcase.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Lots of room for children (and parents) to discover the loft's secrets.

Eeeew! I think that bug just moved. Honestly, I just saw it move!

The Fabulous Fairytales is a workshop for children in which they create their own book of fairytales together.

The Fabulous Fairytales, or Las Fabulas Locas in Spanish, was first setup in Lima, Peru, in which able-bodied and disabled children worked together to realize an art work which helped enhance their mutual understanding of oneanother. Together they adapted fairy tales, giving rise to such fabulous characters as Little Green Riding Hood and Aladdin the Duck. The children made three dimensional maquettes of the story with which they told their fairytales. Photos of these scenes together make up the book of Fabulous Fairytales.

Book cover of The Fabulous Fairytales, with Hansel and Gretel.

Building Alladin the Duck's castle together.

Hansel and Gretel completely devoured the candy house.

Little Green Riding Hood becomes friends with the Wolf, naughty girl.

Very concentrated while making the forest.

It asks for special skills to be able to build a candy house... and not eat it.

Las Fabulas Locas in Peru was set up in cooperation with Adesa Foundation, graphic design by Miranda van Agthoven, Spanish text editing by Esther
