The Enchanted Loft - Art Installation for Toddlers

The Enchanted Loft is the perfect installation to give the youngest of the youngest a moment of quiet discovery amidst a busy festival.
The toddlers can discover and explore the mysteries hidden within the Enchanted Loft. In the installation they'll find lots of pretty, colourful suitcases. One suitcase is filled with happy, coloured spiders in their webs, another contains a romantic butterfly game. In one the children will find a doll’s house, and in another shiny diamonds! They can touch and play with everything. How mysterious...and how exciting! By hanging a large roof in an open space the area is visually separated without disturbing the view. Below that is a soft rug so that the children can play comfortably on the floor. There is even a ‘bear ball pool’ in which they can frolic. Age group The Enchanted Loft is especially designed for toddlers from the age of two, but children up to eight years old really enjoy discovering the installation. As a matter of fact, even the parents can often get a little 'enchanted' in the Loft. More information The Enchanted Loft has been exhibited at a number of theaters and festivals in the Netherlands. The Enchanted Loft was made as a commission for the ‘Twee Turven Hoog festival’ in the Schouwburg Almere, a festival organised by Stichting 2+ Producties in cooperation with, amongst others, Kunstenaars & Co. After that festival the installation has toured via the Pleintheater in Amsterdam, the Amstelveens Poppentheater, the Bram Roza Festival in the Netherlands and made it's debut in the UK at the Sheffield Children's Festival in 2012.
