Speed Networking for Artists

‘Support your fellow artists as they support you. Your best community is your peer group of fellow artists.’
- Gregory Amenoff, Letters to a Young Artist

Between 2012 and 2013, the Karin Janssen Project Space hosted a series of "Speed Networking for Artists" events in London, designed to foster connections and collaboration among creative professionals. These gatherings provided a structured yet informal environment where artists could engage directly with peers, exchanging insights and building supportive networks. Participants included professional artists, as well as individuals from various creative sectors such as photography, graphic design, curation, filmmaking, dance, music, and writing. The initiative underscored the importance of peer recognition and dialogue in the artistic community, offering a platform for feedback, inspiration, and career development.
